24 Hr. Lead Inspector Initial Certification
This 3-day (24 hr.) course presents the EPA model curriculum covering the lead-based paint (LBP) inspection protocols described in the HUD Guidelines and EPA regulations for both single-family and multi-family housing together with current research findings and practical advice from experienced inspectors. Participants will develop an understanding of the advantages and limitations of a variety of lead inspection techniques, along with methods of implementation. The course also covers lead detection in paint, dust and soil; personal protection; pre-inspection planning; preparing samples for laboratory analysis; and use of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers. |

This 2-day (16 hr.) course prepares the graduate to conduct ‘Risk Assessments’ (investigations) which identify Lead hazards and prepare a plan to mitigate/reduce exposure. Students must hold a Certified Lead Inspector credential to take this course (EPA prerequisite). HUD Lead 8 Hr. Safe Work Practices
The course provides required training for maintenance and renovation contractors who repair and maintain painted surfaces for Housing Authorities, HUD projects and child-occupied facilities.

AHERA Management Planner
The AHERA/ASHARA regulations require that school districts whose buildings contain asbestos must develop management plans for each building. The management plan is a formal document that specifies training, cleaning, work practices, and surveillance to maintain asbestos-containing materials in good condition. Those who design, review and modify these plans must receive accreditation.
16 Hr. Accreditation Class

40 Hr. Certified Supervisor Initial
This Washington Certified 5-day (40 hr.) class is designed for those who supervise abatement workers, discusses supervision and management, administrative programs, medical monitoring and includes many hands-on exercises dealing with air monitoring, Type C systems, and respiratory protection. Annual 8 hr. refresher required. 40 Hr. HAZWOPER Certification
This course satisfies the requirements for health and safety training in the OSHA/WISHA Standard on Hazardous Waste Operations, 29 CFR 1910.120 and WAC 296-62 Part P. This training is required for those who are involved in clean-up of uncontrolled hazardous waste sites.
This 5-day (40 hr.) course combines lectures, class exercises and hands-on training. Designed for workers engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose them to hazardous substances and health hazards. Annual refresher is required.
24 Hr. HAZWOPER Limited Tasks Training
A 3-day (24 hr.) training is available for those on-site for limited tasks or who work at sites without health risks to workers - 8 hr. annual refresher required.
8 Hr. HAZWOPER Refresher
A required 8 hr. annual re-certification for persons engaged in hazardous waste operations. This class is also available on a custom basis tailored to the specific needs of the client. To customize this class to meet individual needs, we develop problem-solving scenarios based on actual site conditions.
