Employers must train employees on how to read and understand GHS formatted safety data sheets (SDSs) and labels by December 1, 2013. The new Hazard Communication Standard has specific requirements for labels, SDSs, chemical classification, training, authoring, and other compliance issues to align with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Earn CEUs with RGA’s AHERA Training Classes
Did you know required AHERA classes count toward Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for many professional certifications? Building Performance Institute (BPI) professionals can receive 12 CEU credits for 24-hour AHERA classes. The ABIH Certification Maintenance Committee awards credit for RGA’s AHERA Building Inspector, Management Planner, Contractor/Supervisor, Designer, Project Monitor and Operations and Maintenance courses. Credits apply to both initial and refresher classes. CEUs may also be available for other professional certifications. Answer: NO. Landscaping fabric is not an impermeable material.
