Earn CEUs with RGA’s AHERA Training Classes

Did you know required AHERA classes count toward Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for many professional certifications? Building Performance Institute (BPI) professionals can receive 12 CEU credits for 24-hour AHERA classes. The ABIH Certification Maintenance Committee awards credit for RGA’s AHERA Building Inspector, Management Planner, Contractor/Supervisor, Designer, Project Monitor and Operations and Maintenance courses. Credits apply to both initial and refresher classes. CEUs may also be available for other professional certifications. RGA offers a 10% discount when you register and pay for RGA AHERA training classes online.

Question: During exterior power washing, instead of plastic, can landscaping fabric or a similiarmaterial be used to capture any paint chips or other debris, but permit the water to seep through?

Answer: NO. Landscaping fabric is not an impermeable material.

Changes to 2008 Lead RRP Rule May Affect Your Renovation Project. The EPA has finalized a Clearance Rule that will amend the RRP Rule. The impending changes affect collection of paint chip samples.
